Requirements

What the Finance Manager will do:

  • Preparation and delivery of Management and Statutory Accounts, as well as preparation of any tax returns (previous tax experience not required)
  • Deliver robust and accurate financial information and KPI’s
  • Provide technical and strategic support to the Financial Controller, providing insight to aid decision making
  • Review and challenge existing processes, and look to drive the adoption of a highly automated process.
  • Implementation of controls across finance process and particularly over the P2P process.
  • Work closely with external auditors and advisors, and assist with the successful completion of the annual audit.
  • Assist in the financial forecasting process across the business, engaging across NYDIG and Bottlepay
  • Support the development of junior team members.
  • This is wide reaching role that will be different from day-to-day as the business continues to develop.


You should apply if:

  • You have 3+ years of post-qualification experience
  • You have trained with the Big 4 and this is your second move in industry
  • You have great technical, analytical and solution-oriented skills

  • You can work both autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines and react to new business opportunities
  • You have excellent communication skills, and can work closely with other areas of the business as part of a cross functional team

It’ll be beneficial if you have:

  • The proximity to be in the Newcastle office at least once a week (This is desirable, but not essential)
  • A good understanding of and passion for Bitcoin
  • Experience with FOREX
  • Experience in Financial Services
